Customs Clearance Rules and Conditions

Since May 14, 2022, a new regulation (Government Decree №201) introduced an additional customs service fee:

  • For parcels valued between ₾300–₾3,000₾20

  • It contains identical goods.

If multiple parcels under your name arrive on the same flight and their total value exceeds ₾300, they are also subject to clearance.

Clearance process:

  • We issue the declaration with payment details and due date.

  • The payment must be made to the Treasury account of Georgia.

  • Customs duty equals 18% of the item’s value + shipping cost.

Parcels must be declared before arrival, otherwise they may be held by customs and transferred to state ownership after the legal deadline.
